Find the right air pistol for your needs – power, realism and precision all in one guide!
Air guns come in many varieties – from simple blowback guns to advanced PCP models. At Game-On.no You will find everything from realistic CO2 models to precision weapons for range and training. Here you will get a simple overview of the different types, how they work, and what maintenance they require.
Air pistols without blowback (GNB )

These are fixed slide pistols, which do not move when you shoot. They use CO2 to propel the bullet forward, but without recoil.
Blowback air pistols (GBB )

These pistols have a moving slide that recoils with each shot. This creates recoil and a realistic shooting experience! Perfect for those who want the feel of a real weapon. Blowback requires a little more gas, but in return provides both fun and realism.
PCP Air Pistols

Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) air guns are powered by compressed air stored in a cylinder. They provide extreme precision, high power and consistent performance. You fill the tank with a pump or compressor, and get many shots per fill. Perfect for those who want precision shooting and high-level performance.
Spring and pump-operated air guns

These guns need neither gas nor air tank. You crack the barrel (or pump) to charge the weapon. Spring and pump-operated air guns are affordable, simple and extremely reliable – a good choice for those who want a lot of power for their money!

Pellets or BBs?
Pellets are used in rifled barrels for best precision – perfect for target shooting. BB bullets are round steel balls which is used in smooth running and provides higher speed and fun shooting at short range. Choose pellets for precision and BB for action!
Maintenance
All airguns should be lubricated with silicone spray to keep seals and moving parts in top condition. Avoid using gun oil or grease – only silicone!
