Tommy Gun – “Chicago Typewriter”
The Thompson M1A1 was nicknamed the “Chicago Typewriter” by gangsters in the 20s, but it was during World War II that it truly became famous. Used by American paratroopers, British commandos and partisans across Europe. Perhaps the most filmed machine gun in film.
