An airsoft battery must be handled with great care. We have therefore created this guide so that you know how to handle your battery.
- Any disturbance in the structure of a battery can lead to damage and ignition.
- Positive and negative poles must not be connected together as this could cause permanent damage to the battery or lead to ignition.
- One battery should neither be heated up nor exposed to low temperatures.
- One battery must never be exposed to liquid.
- A battery is susceptible to getting one mechanical damage. The mechanical damage can do permanent damage and result in it igniting.
- One battery should be charged according to the instructions provided with the battery. The red colored wire (+) must be connected to the red colored wire (positive port) in the charger. The black colored wire (-) must be connected to the black colored wire (negative port) in the charger.
- Each battery cell can be charged up to a value of 3.7V. This value must not be exceeded. Other charger settings may cause irreversible damage to the battery.
- A battery charge should be carried out under constant supervision (even with high-quality batteries) on the non-flammable surface of non-conductive materials.
- One battery should be charged with a charger that is suitable and compatible with batteries. Using an inappropriate charger can cause permanent damage to the battery.
- Charging a battery to a value lower than 3V per cell can cause damage.
- If a battery is used incorrectly, it can be permanently damaged or catch fire.
- Should you get eye contact or skin contact with the electrolyte in a battery, you should immediately rinse the contaminated area with water and contact a doctor immediately.
- When one battery charging is complete, the battery should be disconnected from the charger immediately.
- If changes are detected in the battery (e.g. color, swelling, excessive temperature), the use of the battery is stopped.
- One battery should be used so that no third parties have access to it.
- Care must be taken when installing a battery. Any short circuit can cause the battery to ignite and in extreme situations explode.
- A battery that has been mechanically damaged, overcharged or deeply discharged is considered unusable.
- To keep a battery in good condition, it should be balanced during charging (a good charger has a built-in balance).
- It might be good to acquire a charger that has a storage function that will either charge or discharge the battery until it reaches 3.7V per cell.
Neither the distributor nor the manufacturer accepts any responsibility for possible damage as a result of incorrect use of a battery.
