Her er noen tips og triks for å få mest mulig ut av ditt nye luftvåpen!

Here are some tips and tricks to get the most out of your new air weapon!

Safety first!

Never aim or point at people or animals. Only disengage the weapon at the moment the sights are aimed at the target. Keep your finger off the trigger until you intend to fire. Always treat the weapon as if it were loaded. If you maintain these safety rules at all times, you will guarantee the safety of yourself and those around you, and it will be a pleasant shooting experience for everyone.

Experiment with ammunition

Don't be afraid to try different types of bullets and calibers. There are many different types of ammunition, but no conclusion - two identical rifles with the same type of bullet will still shoot differently. Different brands may have varying shapes, aerodynamics and weights, and you may find that a certain type of bullet works better with your weapon. Precision and performance logging can also help you find the perfect match. REMEMBER! If you change the bullet type, the point of aim will change. You must adjust the sights according to the bullet you shoot. If you change bullets, you will probably have to readjust the sights.

Adjust and test regularly

If you move the scope, either for storage or transport, it is a good idea to check the setting. A little time spent on calibration gives better results and makes you more confident about the accuracy.

Work with the extraction technique

Trigger control is often the difference between a good and a great shot. A tip might be to practice without ammunition to build up muscle memory and get used to pulling off carefully. Also practice breathing; some prefer to take a deep breath in, let the breath out halfway, and then hold the breath when the shot comes. ATTENTION: Do not dry fire with a crack weapon, as this can damage the seal on the piston.

Cleaning and maintenance with the right products

Avoid too much oil, as this can damage the seals. Feel free to use maintenance products that are specially made for airguns, and follow the manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning and lubrication. The barrel should be dry when you fire, so feel free to run through the barrel once or twice to remove oil.

Analyze performance at different distances

By practicing at different distances and in different weather conditions, you can develop a good understanding of how your air force behaves. This will help you adapt the technique to the environment and find what gives the best precision.
