We have many different knives here at Game-On! Everything from folding knives, training knives, work knives, hunting knives to collectibles! The knives have origins all the way from Japan in the south to the Sami in the north. They have been used for agriculture and some for fighting and war! As is often the case today, we use them for hunting when we are on  trip or for general everyday use. There is a sea of ​​different blade types and areas of use. In this guide we will go through the different ones we sell here at Game-On!

 

Normal Straight

A good knife for everyday use! The blade has a side that is completely bone that is not sharp. While the other side has an edge that curves up towards the tip. It is therefore perfectly suited for cutting, chopping and nailing with, as you can press with the palm of one side.

  

Drop Point

One of the most common knife blades that is just as good for hunting as it is for everyday use! The knife has a strong point with a long cutting surface that makes it good for opening things and cutting with! 
 

Clip Point

Perfect for fishing and hunting! The Clip Point blade has a long cutting surface and pointed tip that gives good precision!
 

Bowie

Is a very good hunting and hiking knife! It has a caristic design and is very solid! It may be similar to Clip Point in design, but Bowie is a bit more extreme in many ways!
 

American Tanto

The American Tanto blade is inspired by the Japanese sword and has a solid blade with an extra blade at the tip. Which makes it ideal for cutting with both hard and delicate materials.

  

Hawksbill

Stylish and special knife that is made to imitate a tiger claw! It was actually used to split and tear up the earth and to pick rice in Asia! A great tool to carve or cut with and a stylish knife for the collection! 

 

Days

Dangerous little weapon with a sharp point and two sharp ends. Used by Bilbo in The Lord of the Rings and was originally used in battle as a lethal weapon. We at Game-On therefore do not have real weapons, but some tough foam/rubber props! 

 

Various

Otherwise, we have some other types of knives that may have completely different uses, such as razors, filet knives and axes. Take a look at the selection below!

 

Accessories for knives

After a while the knives become dull and it is therefore important to have a good whetstone! From time to time it may be good to oil them and to protect them from rust.
