The real steel version
The company SilencerCo has become known for making silencers of extremely good quality for a number of different weapons. To solve the problem of heavy weight and size of pistols with suppressors, the development team created a completely new pistol with integrated suppressor, compact design and light weight. This resulted in the Maxim 9, which saw the light of day in 2018.
Softgun gas with blowback - How it works
Fill the magazine with softgun gas and 6mm BBs, insert the magazine into the gun and take the charging grip. For each shot, the slide hits back which provides recoil and the slide locks in the rear position when the magazine is empty. We recommend that the gun is regularly lubricated with silicone spray. The gun also takes Co2 magazines without problems. See here for extra gas magazine!
How to adjust Hop-up?
To adjust the hop-up, lock the slide in the rear position. On the left side, directly above the trigger, there is a hole with a + sign. You then use the 4mm Umrako key included to adjust the hop-up up and down.
Keymod adapter gives you 21mm rail (purchased separately.)
On the underside of the Maxim 9 there is a keymod slot. When installing a Keymod adapter you will get a 21mm rail for attaching a lantern or laser if desired.
