Gas with blowback - How it works

The magazine is filled with softgun gas and 6mm BB bullets. Put the magazine in the rifle and take the charging handle. With each shot, the bolt hits back which provides recoil and loads a new bullet. The rifle only fires semi-auto. 

Several types of soft gun gas are suitable, but Novritsch recommends this soft gun gas:
<20C°  - Nimrod black
20-25C°  - Nimrod red
25-30C°  - Nimrod green
>30C°  - Nimrod blue

Maple Leaf hop-up - Top class precision straight out of the box! 

This rifle is unique in many ways, but few things are as impressive and important as a proper hop-up. Right out of the box this rifle manages to shoot up to 0.46g BBs, which is impressive for a gas rifle. The 60° AUTOBOT from Maple Leaf is fully installed and with a wide nub and TDC adjustment it is very easy to adjust the hop-up and you are guaranteed good precision, even with 0.46g BBs. The inner barrel is a 6.03mm precision barrel, remember good quality BBs!

Change the power of the rifle - More functions

The blowback mechanism is short-stroke and you get a snappy and fast firing rate. The trigger mechanism and bolt catch  are made of steel as these are parts that face great stress. 

An extra nozzle can be obtained which can change the power of the rifle. In this rifle, the most powerful is installed and you can get up to 1.8 Joules of energy. 
The flask is attached to a vertical 21mm rail, this makes it easy to remove during transport. 
The grip is AR-spec and can be replaced with AR compatible grips. The inside of the grip has a magnetic strip so you can store tools easily in the grip. 

The rifle has 3 QD mounts for it sling adapter .
 

Cheap to operate - Gas operated rifle with blowback

Yes, you read that right - This is a gas powered rifle that is cheap to run! Since you have less magazine capacity and only semi-auto shooting mode, you use far fewer shots than you do with an AEG. The rifle is designed to be very efficient on the gas so that one bottle of softgun gas will, under the right circumstances, last several games. The Novritsch SSQ22 is a gas-powered DMR that offers incredible value for money and scores high on operational safety, ease of use, maintenance, precision and power!
