This is how it works

Fill the magazine with green gas/soft gun gas and 6mm airsoft bullets. Put the magazine in the rifle and take the charging handle. With each shot, the slide hits back which provides recoil. Lubricate all moving parts and gaskets with silicone spray. Always leave some gas in the magazine.
Gas and bullets are not included.
