Urban Courier Bag®

Urban Courier Bag® is a classic shoulder bag with features suited to everyday urban activities. It’s ideal as a bike bag, student bag, or a bag to take with you to work. This project prioritizes durability and aesthetics in the materials used, while the many pockets make it easy to optimize how you carry your essentials.

The universal carrying strap arrangement, with its separate main shoulder strap and an additional adjustable, detachable waist strap, makes it easy to adapt the bag to your body and activity level. This is especially important for people who cycle or run frequently.

Our designers have paid special attention to the internal layout of the pockets and compartments in the urban bag. A separate, padded, hook-and-loop-closed pocket securely protects a laptop. The zippered pocket under the flap contains a hook-and-loop panel compatible with the Versatile Insert System.A separate zippered pocket on the outside of the flap provides access to frequently used items without having to open the flap. The hook-and-loop panel can be used for personalization.

On the back of the bag, on the side facing the body, there is another discreet zippered pocket. It won’t tempt potential thieves, as it is almost invisible when the bag is close to your body—and access is also limited. To protect the contents even further, you can fill the pocket with one of our VIS-compatible inserts. The bag has a unisex look. It is also available in a compact version called the Urban Courier Bag Medium®.

SIZE INSTRUCTIONS

We want to make sure that the clothes you buy really fit you – so they can fulfill their purpose properly. Please take a moment of your valuable time to check the measurement guide and the corresponding size chart to avoid mistakes.

To take the correct measurements, find clothes that fit you well and measure them.

Chest

Button up the garment and lay it on a flat surface. Measure from the left edge to the right edge, just below the sleeves.

Waist

Button up the garment and lay it on a flat surface. Measure from the left edge to the right edge at the waist.

Sleeve length

While wearing a shirt you like, measure with one arm at your side, from the shoulder seam and along the arm until you reach the desired length. We recommend that the sleeve should reach the base of your thumb (at the wrist).

For jackets with raglan sleeves, such as Stratus® or Cumulus®, sleeve measurements should be taken from the bottom of the collar down to the sleeve.

Inseam

Button up the pants. Lay the pants flat on a flat surface. Measure the inseam from the crotch, where the front and back seams meet, to the bottom of the leg.

Pants Length

Button up the pants. Lay the pants flat on a flat surface with the outseams along both edges. Be sure to smooth out any wrinkles and excess fabric from the back panel. Measure the distance from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.

Total Length

Lay the skirt that best matches your size flat with the side seams facing upward. Use your hand to smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric. Then measure the distance between the top edge and the bottom edge. For the most accurate result, measure along the side seam.

Waist circumference

Lay the skirt that best matches your size flat with the zipper facing upward. Use your hand to smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric. Measure the top part of the skirt (the waistline) from one side edge to the opposite side edge. Then double the result to get the waist circumference.

Hip circumference

Lay the skirt that best matches your size flat with the zipper facing upward. Use your hand to smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric. Then measure the distance between the opposite sides at the hip area (depending on the skirt’s cut, the hips should be approximately 11–14 cm below the top edge of the skirt). Double the result to get the hip circumference.
