Vortex - How it works

Vortex Piston is specially developed for Hatsan rifles and can be compared to Crosman’s Nitro Piston. Break the barrel down, load a pellet, close the barrel again and fire. Simple, affordable and effective!

This is simply an incredibly great air rifle that delivers maximum performance in every area!

The rifle is equipped with, among other things:

Vortex System:
The Vortex Piston is specially developed for Hatsan rifles and can be compared to Crosman’s Nitro Piston. It compresses air as you cock the rifle and uses it to fire the shot. With the new Vortex piston, noise is reduced after around 100 shots, and you can clearly notice the difference between the old model and this new one. With Vortex, this will last much longer than the spring-powered models.

Quattro Trigger:
An advanced two-stage trigger that is only available from Hatsan. It gives you three-point adjustment to adjust the trigger pull, the position of the first and second stages of the firing cycle, and the length the trigger travels before the shot is fired. With this custom-built trigger, you can also release finger pressure if the shot cannot be taken at the first stage of the firing cycle. In addition, it is equipped with an extra safety in case you accidentally drop it. This system is called “drop safety interlock” and ensures that it will not fire even when the safety is off.

SAS:
In this context, this stands for Shock Absorber System and is a system that reduces vibrations and extends the lifespan of the rifle, optics, and accessories.

TruGlo Fiber Optics:
Fiber-optic technology has been integrated into micro-adjustable front and rear sights for extra precision when shooting.
