Vortex - How it works
Vortex Piston was specially developed for Hatsan rifles and can be compared to Crosman’s Nitro Piston. It compresses air in a completely sealed piston when you cock it, then uses this pressure to drive the piston forward and fire the shot. The piston is completely sealed, so you don’t need to refill it with any gas!
Break the barrel down, load a pellet, raise the barrel again and shoot. Simple, affordable and effective!
Powerful rifle
This rifle is one of the most powerful break-barrel rifles on the market, with a real muzzle velocity of 380 m/s, or 40 joules if you prefer that measurement. This means you can easily use it for long-range shooting with the right scope and pellets.
With the new Vortex piston, the noise is reduced after around 100 shots, and you can clearly notice the difference between the old model and this new one. With Vortex, this will last much longer than the spring models.
This is simply an incredibly impressive air rifle that delivers maximum performance in every area!
The rifle is equipped with, among other things:
Vortex System:
The Vortex Piston is specially developed for Hatsan rifles and can be compared to Crosman’s Nitro Piston. It compresses air when you cock the rifle and uses it to fire the shot. With the new Vortex piston, the noise is reduced after around 100 shots, and you can really notice the difference between the old model and this new one. With Vortex, this will last much longer than the spring models.
Quattro Trigger:
An advanced two-stage trigger that is only available from Hatsan. It allows you to make a three-point adjustment for the trigger pull weight, the positioning of the first and second stages of the firing cycle, and the length the trigger must travel before the shot is fired. With this specially designed trigger, you can also release finger pressure if the shot cannot be taken during the first stage of the firing cycle. In addition, it features an extra safety in case you accidentally drop it. This system is called “drop safety interlock” and prevents it from firing even when the safety is off.
SAS:
Stands for Shock Absorber System and is a system that reduces vibrations and extends the lifespan of the rifle, optics, and accessories.
TruGlo Fiber Optics:
Fiber optic technology has been integrated into micro-adjustable front and rear sights for extra precision when shooting.
