Break-barrel air rifle - Vortex/nitro piston - How it works

The Vortex break-barrel rifle is powered by a gas piston that is compressed when you break the barrel. When you pull the trigger, the piston returns to its original position. This system is more powerful, easier to cock, quieter, and more durable than its older spring-powered counterpart. Almost all break-barrel rifles today use this system.

You don't need to refill it with gas—the piston is completely sealed.

Quattro Trigger

An advanced two-stage trigger available exclusively from Hatsan. It allows you to make a three-point adjustment to set the trigger pull, the position of the first and second stages of the firing cycle, and the trigger travel before the shot is fired. With this specially designed trigger, you can also release finger pressure if the shot cannot be taken during the first stage of the firing cycle. In addition, it features an extra safety mechanism in case you accidentally drop it. This system is called “drop safety interlock” and prevents it from firing even when the safety is off.

SAS

In this context, this stands for Shock Absorber System. It is a system that reduces vibrations and extends the service life of the rifle, optics, and accessories.

TruGlo Fiber Optics

Fiber optic technology is built into both the front and rear sights. The sights can be adjusted for elevation and windage, and are easy to aim with, even for younger shooters.

Why choose Hatsan over other brands?

More power
Even if the muzzle velocity is listed as the same from one brand to another, this is not always accurate. Hatsan ALWAYS tests its weapons with lead pellets, while most others test with lightweight aluminum pellets. This means that a Hatsan rifle will have greater impact than a rifle tested with aluminum pellets.

Unique equipment
All Hatsan rifles come with unique equipment as standard to give shooters the best possible experience and accuracy. This includes their Quatro Trigger, TruGlo Fiber Optic Sight and Shock Absorber System, to name a few

Unique Design
While others use widely available designs, all Hatsan rifles are designed at their own factory. This means that Hatsan rifles are unique and not just reproductions.

Quality Control
All Hatsan rifles undergo extensive testing, and all parts are manufactured at their own factory to ensure top quality. Naturally, the parts are made from the best raw materials.
