Vortex - How it works
The Vortex Piston is specifically designed for Hatsan rifles and can be compared to Crosman's Nitro Piston. It compresses air into a completely sealed piston as you load and uses this pressure to push the piston forward to fire the shot.
Powerful rifle
The rifle is one of the most powerful break-action rifles on the market with a real muzzle velocity of 380m/s or 40 Joules if you prefer to go by that measurement. This means that you can use this for long-range shooting with straight scopes and bullets.
With the new Vortex piston, the sound is minimized after about 100 shots and you can feel a big difference between the old model and this new one. With the Vortex, this one will last much longer than the old one.

More power:
Although muzzle velocity is the same from brand to brand, this is not always correct. Hatsan ALWAYS tests their guns with lead bullets, while most others test with lightweight aluminum bullets. This means that a Hatsan rifle will have a higher recoil than an aluminum tested rifle.

Vortex System:

Quattro Trigger:
An advanced two-stage trigger that is only available from Hatsan. It allows you to adjust the trigger load, the position of the first and second stages of the firing cycle, and the length of time the trigger should travel before the shot is fired. This specially built trigger also allows you to release your finger pressure if the shot cannot be taken on the first stage of the firing cycle. In addition, it is equipped with an additional safety in case you are unfortunate enough to drop it on the ground. This system is called a "drop safety interlock" and prevents it from firing even if the safety is off.
SAS:
In this context, it stands for Shock Absorber System and is a system that reduces vibrations and extends the life of both the rifle, optics and accessories.
TruGlo Fiber Optics:
Fiber optic technology has been integrated into micro-adjustable front and rear sights for extra precision on shots.
TRIOPAD Butt System:
This system is located at the end of the stock and is designed to provide maximum recoil absorption, giving the shooter increased comfort when shooting powerful air rifles.
