LiFe has a longer lifespan and better thermal performance (good performance in high and low temperatures) than traditional Li-Po batteries. When used in airsoft weapons where thermal stability is very important, other batteries can quickly become too hot to use. Another important factor is the 9.9V voltage. For most common Airsoft weapons, the common 11.1V battery has too high a voltage between the motor and the gear, which can destroy the gearbox. 9.9V Li-Fe has perfect voltage for high performance for use in  Airsoft guns.
