Classic and precise 4.5mm BSA air rifle with GRT piston, 10-shot magazine and scope included
BSA Merlin XL Beech is a powerful and precise 4.5mm air rifle for those who want a more premium sporter setup with both performance and a classic wooden stock. This version delivers 24 joules and features a practical 10-shot system, adjustable CAT trigger and BSA’s renowned cold-hammer-forged barrel. A 3-9x40 scope is included, and the rifle has an 11mm rail for mounting.
GRT piston = smoother shooting and stable operation
The Merlin XL uses a gas piston (GRT) instead of a traditional spring. This provides smooth and consistent operation, and many find it to be a more predictable and reliable system over time. Loading is simple: break the barrel, and the system is ready for use again.
10X GEN3i magazine = faster and smoother feeding
The rifle is equipped with a 10-shot magazine, indexed using the inertia of the recoil. It provides a smoother loading function and makes it easier to fire multiple shots without loading each shot individually.
Cold-hammer-forged BSA barrel and moderator threads
The Merlin XL features BSA’s cold-hammer-forged barrel, known for its precision. The barrel is also threaded 1/2x20 UNF, allowing you to mount a sound moderator.
CAT trigger and RRR rail that protects the scope
The adjustable CAT trigger lets you customize both the first and second stages, so you can find the feel that suits you best. The rifle also features BSA’s RRR (Recoil Reducing Rail), a rail designed to reduce the strain on the scope caused by recoil and vibrations. This can help improve durability and provide a more stable setup over time.
Beech stock with a secure grip
The stock is made of beech and features checkering throughout for a secure grip in all weather conditions. The butt pad is ventilated for a more comfortable shoulder position and improved cushioning.
