Ever shot on a hard surface with BB steel bullets? We hope not, because then you've probably experienced how they ricochet around. 

H&N has come up with a smart solution to the problem. Copper-coated lead balls that are squeezed flat when they hit something hard and the risk of ricochet is therefore greatly reduced. 

The lead in the center of the bullet ensures that it is soft enough to deform on impact, but the smooth surface of the cups ensures that the bullet is hard enough not to take damage from sitting in a spring loaded magazine. 

These balls pose considerably less ricochet danger than normal steel balls. With less ricochet, it is both safer to shoot while the bullets litter a smaller area than if they had bounced around uncontrollably.
