LiPo batteries offer an exceptional balance between capacity and size, with no memory effect, and can be charged frequently without being fully drained. They retain 95–97% of their energy when stored, but should never be charged below 3V per cell or above 4.2V per cell. Prolonged improper storage can lead to chemical reactions, damage, or in extreme cases, fire. When used correctly, they have a lifespan of 500–700 charging cycles and perform well under low temperatures.

Why use Li-Po Batteries?

The main reason to use Li-Po batteries is that they are smaller in size and you get more power and duration from Li-Po compared to NiMH. Most Li-Po batteries are the same size as a mini-type battery, but have the same power as a large NiMH battery.

You no longer need long wires to attach a large battery on the outside of your weapon when Li-Po is the battery type you use on your Carbine, PDW, or SMG rifle. This again means that you don't ruin the look of your rifle, or run out of power during a game.

Unlike traditional batteries, Li-Po gives you a stable Rate of Fire throughout its duration.Additionally, it's not necessary to discharge Li-Po batteries, which means you can charge them up between games.
