12g CO2 - How to prepare the revolver
Open the grip (there is a small notch underneath the grip to open it) and insert one 12g CO2 cartridge. Then use the tool inside the removable grip to tighten the screw underneath the grip.
Put the removable grip back in place.The revolver is now ready for loading the cartridges.
Each cartridge holds 1 4.5mm pellet, and you load each cartridge just like the live-fire version by breaking open the barrel.
The hammer must be cocked for each shot, just like the live-fire version.
Use both pellets and BBs
The revolver comes with pellet cartridges, but if you use BB cartridges, you can fire round BBs.

The history behind the fast-loading "break-top revolver"
The original Schofield No. 3 revolver was designed by artillery officer Major George W. Schofield of the 10th Cavalry.
The U.S. military ordered 1,000 Schofield No. 3 revolvers, and many were used by the 4th Cavalry against the Geronimo forces, as well as by the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry.
The revolver was very popular among soldiers on horseback due to its break-open system and quick reloading. This could be done in under 30 seconds.
