This detailed Denix Sten MKII replica recreates one of the most distinctive submachine guns of World War II. The model is made of metal with realistic dimensions, weight, and moving parts, making it perfect as a prop, collector’s item, or decoration.
The Sten MKII was developed in 1940, when Britain was in a critical situation and needed an affordable submachine gun that could be produced quickly. The result was the Sten series—simple, robust, and known for functioning under most conditions. It was widely used by British forces during World War II and the Korean War, and also ended up in the hands of resistance movements across Europe.

Historical background
The Sten MKII is perhaps best known for its simple design and very low production costs. The name STEN comes from the designers Shepherd and Turpin, as well as the Enfield factory where the weapon was produced. With over four million units produced, the Sten became an icon for Allied forces and resistance groups in occupied countries.
